Lisa Brown

The work has been studio based but I am now branching more into the public art sector making sculpture that is functional.

I have been teaching art in adult education for the past six years and work with many different groups of varying abilities and various disciplines. I also run my own evening life drawing classes.

I became involved with Action Space over two years ago and now work with the Wandsworth young peoples project on a Saturday morning. They are a fantastic group of energetic, imaginative, great humoured young adults who are extremely creative and always wishing to explore their art further. The group has a very friendly feel and there is always something interesting happening.

I have also just completed co-teaching a pilot mentoring scheme; ‘learning to mentor others within art group practice’.
