Lisa Muten

I work in a variety of media including paint, print, sculpture and digital media. Details of my art practice and recent exhibitions can be found at www.muten.net. In 2010 I completed my MA in Fine Art with a Post Graduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning.

I have been working with Action Space since 2008 on a number of projects including ‘Connecting through Art’ in East London and the Croydon Studio Project. I am currently working with young adults at the Leighton Project in Camden. This is a two year educational project for 17-24 year olds. In the art sessions we cover a variety of art making techniques including drawing, printing, painting, model making, casting and film making with students developing their own practice and making work for their annual summer show. Working as an artist facilitator at Action Space is rewarding and provides me with an opportunity to gain insight in how others experience and interpret their environment.
