Action Space were delighted to be invited to take part in the Learning Disability Today exhibition. This was an exciting opportunity for us as it is the biggest event on learning disability in the UK.

Anthony Mitchell, Barbara van Heel, Victoria Playford and Nina Mankin welcomed guests to the Action Space stand and had the opportunity to spread the word about the work that we do. Visitors of the exhibition were invited to take part in a sculpture workshop run by Artist Tutor Nina Mankin and to view original artwork made by Action Space artists.

The event explored the theme of ‘It’s your life – develop the life you want!’ and took place at the Business Design Centre in London. As well as lots of exhibitors and seminars, there was a programme of engaging and interactive activities across various Zones, including the Art Zone of which Action Space was part of.
