Volunteer
There are two kinds of Action Space Volunteers, Project Volunteers and Office Volunteers.
Project Volunteers:
Action Space volunteers support the visual art projects. They work alongside the artist tutors, supporting the participants during their weekly sessions. Many of our volunteers have art training and use the sessions to develop their artistic skills and their skills in working with people with learning disabilities. Project volunteers also have the opportunity to help prepare exhibitions that our artist participants are involved in. They often exhibit in high profile venues, such as Battersea Arts Centre, Camden Arts Centre and the Pump House Gallery.
Office Volunteers:
We sometimes need extra help in our office. Student placements and volunteers have been an invaluable support, for example, with marketing projects and general office administration. We can offer essential skills in Arts Admin, in a small art charity office.
