Westminster Young People's Project
Action Space is delighted to announce three year funding from the Big Lottery Fund - Young People's Fund, which has enabled us to continue working with young people in Westminster. We are now in the second year of funding.
The Westminster Young People's group meet every week at the Croxley Project in Queens Park. The Croxley Project is a centre for people with learning disabilities in Westminster.
The group have created a wonderful mural in the garden at the Croxley Project, transforming the garden into a wonderful, colourful space. They celebrated their work with a launch, 'Freedom,' on 28th March 2007. There were a lot of people at the launch party and the young people were very proud of their work. The Kilburn Times attended and there was a photograph in the newspaper.
If you would like to find out more about this project and the mural, please contact us.
